Who wrote "Corcovado"
Antônio Carlos Jobim wrote the music and the Portuguese lyrics. Gene Lees wrote the English words, "Quiet Nights of Quiet Stars". João Gilberto recorded it in 1960 on his album O Amor, o Sorriso e a Flor, and it became one of the songs that took bossa nova abroad, above all through the Getz/Gilberto album of 1964.
